To say the day was an emotional one, feels like an understatement. The day was spent with lots of hugs, many happy tears, a few sad tears in remembering loved ones such as Grandpa Joe, and a TON of laughs. Set at the gorgeous Manning Park, Alex + Tony officially because Mr + Mrs Clark. Or Bragg, depending on who you ask.
Though Mother Nature kept the torrential down pour away, she did give us a little bit of sun and a little bit of rain throughout the day. Embracing the slight rain that fell on us during photos, the wedding party pulled out the umbrellas and simply enjoyed the rain. Alex's dress quickly resembled an outfit straight out of a Jane Austen book. Though I doubt any of them work knee high socks with Doc Marten boots. ;)
As the evening wore on, the bonfire and smores kept the cold away, and Alex + Tony honoured their loved ones who had passed, recognizing that family, chosen or not, is truly the most important thing.
